Its emphasis is in the detection and treatment of eye disease, difficult to fit hard and soft contact lenses (including near & farsightedness, astigmatism, keratoconus), and the co-management of LASIK, cataract, and other eye surgeries. The education and training of both Dr. Soares and his staff are always current, and the diagnostic instrumentation used in the office is state-of-the-art.

The optical department carries the latest in fashionable Eyewear, Sunglasses, and hi-tech Thin and Lightweight lenses. Our optical staff specializes in proper frame selection and fitting resulting in a pair of spectacles customized to meet the needs of your lifestyle.

We carry a wide range of optical products ranging from Thin/Lightweight lenses & Progressive “no-line” bifocals to the latest in space-age frame materials like titanium and stainless steel. Other products include sports glasses, ski goggles, sunglasses, shooting glasses, and even binoculars, spotting scopes and riflescopes by Zeiss (arguably the finest optics in the world).
